Apple Admits MobileMe Lost Messages

Apple has admitted that MobileMe lost messages yesterday. Last Friday a serious problem with one of the mail servers blocked 1% members’ access to their MobileMe mail accounts. After a team restored limited web access yesterday, the affected members can use their browsers to read (mail that arrived since last Friday but not before), send and receive new mail. Urbanspoon Finds Restaurants on iPhone

Urbanspoon is free software that installs on iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPod touch running 2.0 software. Urbanspoon, which is described as part Magic 8 Ball and part urban slot machine, can help locate and choose restaurants close to you using the location-aware iPhone GPS. The iPhone’s accelerometers pick up the “shake.”
