UK Trains Enforce Quiet Zone

UK trains have decided to enforce their no cell phone rules in quiet zones. Train operator, C2C, has installed a transparent conductive film over all their windows that blocks electronic signals from leaving the train.

The technology used is actually called Tempest and was developed by the defense industry. You can now kiss mp3 players good-bye along with cell phones. I could’ve used this a couple months ago during my visit to the UK.
