Okay, so, a computer has now solved checkers and can’t be beat by any human component. Big deal–checkers was always just playing second fiddle to chess. Poker, now there’s a human’s game, as demonstrated by Phil Laak and Ali Eslami against a computer component named Polaris. It was a squeeker, no doubt, but I’ll take it.
