The Hand Crank Digital Camera

In an effort to save the environment from wasted chemicals and the like, Sony is in the works to create a line of products called "Odo" that will hopefully rectify the situation.

The most promising product thus far is the digital camera. Working similarly to the hand-crank radio, the camera gains electricity when the owner’s fingers are placed into the two green holes and is spun around and around.

The view is only optical, of course. In order to view the photos, the "Push Power Play" is also needed, which is essentially like a small monitor that is powered by rolling the bottom portion across a flat surface. Think of someone in their socks, running around on the carpet, and you have a general idea of how the product works.

If anyone could recall that one time the power went out in the house, you would probably remember that hand-crank machines are somewhat useful, if a bit clunky. Luckily, the camera and display are just a bit more compact. So, for any of you that experiences a blackout in the near future, but find it crucial to take a photo at that precise moment, this product is for you.
