I just got a press release from Time Warner letting us all know that Warner Bros has chosen to go exclusive with the blu-ray format starting on the 1st of June. I guess this move will make the HD DVD team go bananas especially since Warner declares that the format war is over and that the blu-ray team has won. Read more here

Would you pay to get the concert you just saw in a USB stick? di[rec] is betting on it and is looking to hook up with Warner Music and other labels with its plans to record live performances, then mixes and masters on-site, and delivers the show on a USB drive. According to this German article, the cost in Germany is 17 euros.

Even though Warner had promised us differently, it now says that its Total HD discs won’t be delivered this year and they are shooting for early 2008. In the meantime, Warner promises to keep releasing titles on both formats.
