PlayStation Home has been a long time coming, having been announced close to two years ago now. That may all change soon, however. PS Home director Jack Buster recently assured the world that the service would hit in 2008. "Like we’ve said, we’re excited about moving PlayStation Home into its Open Beta stage this year. Once we make the move to Open Beta, everyone will have access to PlayStation Home."

Microsoft has just announced that sales of the Xbox 360 have outpaced total sales of the original Xbox. This announcement comes just two days after the 360’s third birthday on November 22. Happy birthday, you loud awesome beast!

To put things in perspective, the original Xbox’s life cycle was almost four years long. The 360 has outsold it in just three years, and before another lucrative holiday season to boot. Microsoft’s continued success brings a tear to all of our eyes.

TIGdb is an impressive database of nearly every indie game in existence. The site features tons of free games, playable demos, reviews and screenshots. It’s quite a nice resource, especially for a boring Sunday. Why go to the park when you could be inside playing video games?
