Recent research in the UK found that people who grew up watching "Howdy Doody" and grainy black and white westerns dream in monochrome about a quarter of the time. Those of us raised with color TVs our whole lives, dream completely in glorious technicolor. Odd.

The research indicates that exposure to media between the ages of three and ten is when the switch is set, as that’s when the ability to dream kicks in.Click the link for the London Telegraph story on the matter.

In other news, I’ve dreamed about "LOST" every other night for the past six months.

Now there is no need to leave your bed, excpet for those personal chores.

You know that show on ABC? Or is it NBC? Anyways, it about these 50+ year old women with tons of plastic surgery who don’t work and manage to not only ruin their own lives but the lives of everyone around them. Yet, I digress. These women, have no jobs yet roll around in "sick-ass" (in the parlance of our times) cars.

So, the whole point of the story (was there a point?) is that I saw this picture on some Internet site, and i had an idea for a Desperate Wives spin off.

As if we don’t sit on our butts too much already, here comes an outdoor TV from Runco. The 42-inch LCD panel is weatherproofed and is a cabinet design to minimize exposure to the elements. It even has a "Winter Mode" to allow it to operate down to -4° F.

Now just one question – who is insane enough to be watching TV outside in -4 weather?? Oh – the ones buying this thing for $8,995!

This neat looking thing is actually a couch. Designed by some student at the University of God Knows, this couch is meant to give you a massage while the lazy person reclines. If you ask me, the only think this couch is good for is blocking peoples view of the TV.

Grade: D+ barely.
