It’s embarrassing enough that I live within 5 minutes of Malibu (one surfing spot in Southern California, for those who don’t live around these parts) and don’t surf. If I did, I certainly wouldn’t be able to afford Lenart Studios’ GPS,  LCD, and two-way radio-equipped uber-surfboard. I mean, the thing can alert emergency services if you try to tackle a wave that’s too gnarly, or whatever. No pricing, and this is likely to be a custom-ordered piece of art. And they’ll probably be able to sell some engineering talent to other companies, having figured out how to make such delicate electronics withstand the harshness of surfing, dude.

When you see this in operation, your first words will be "That’s Cool!" That’s what I muttered and then laughed when I looked at the name again

Cooliris will preview any website, image or video link and is customizable. Great for surfing ebay listings! Think of the possibilities. No steep learning curve either. To Preview a link, mouse over the link and then the Cooliris icon to get a fully functional smaller window with the page.

The best Firefox extension, or at the very least, one of the best. It is also available for IE, Safari, and Flock.

Surfing Rocks, here’s a way to surf while you work. It’s called Weeble and it’s a cool gadget that allows you to improve circulation, and rest your feet while you are sitting comfortably in your cubicle.

Personally, I would be tempted to take this bad boy and actually try and skate it down the hallways while giving out high-fives to my co-workers. Now that would be awesome.
