Ooh wa ooh! I-Sing MP3 player

This might be proof that marketers have way too much time on their hands and too few new ideas. This little doohickey here from It’s Outrageous! (unfortunately the real name of the company) is not only an MP3 player, but the "first ever" digital device able to record your own voice in place of the artist’s. You thought the original voice was way too squeaky? Well, the i-Sing will help show that singer who’s boss. You just better hope that your voice was a better replacement.
The cost is around $120, which is apparently cheap for a player such as this. Along with the built-in microphone, speaker and rechargeable battery (natch), there is 512MB of internal memory, SD expansion slot for an additional 2 GB storage capacity, which could probably be expanded to even larger proportions. The I-Sing also comes complete with a USB 2.0 cord for conveniently transferring music at high speeds.

More SSD Goodness from Alienware

Leave it to Alienware to be one of the first to offer SSD, like the 32GB or 64GB SSDs they’re offering in their M9750, M9700, and M5550 systems. They’re even offering an 64GB SSD RAID-0 configuration, along with a 32GB SSD coupled with a 200GB standard HDD to combine speed with storage. As always, SSD will provide more speed with less power, and since the technology probably came from Area 51, it makes perfect sense that Alienware should be one of the first to offer them. Of course, you’ll pay for the luxury: from $500 for the 32GB solo to $920 for the 64GB RAID configuration.

SanDisk Releases 4GB Dustbuster Flash Drive

Okay, so, the design’s actually by Ducati, and this is supposed to resemble a motorcyle. To me, it still looks like a Dustbuster. The colors are the real deal, though, I guess, matching those used by the Ducati Corse team. Otherwise, it’s a pretty decent unit, sporting 4GB of storage and 20 MB/s write speeds. SanDisk is selling these at a hefty $124.99, though, and so I’ll probably be looking elsewhere, since I wouldn’t know a Ducati from a Honda.

TrekStor 1TB DataStation

For $430 you can grab one of TrekStor’s 1TB external USB drives. It includes backup with Nero BackItUp2 Essentials software, and an aluminum housing that supposedly dissipates heat without the need for a fan.

The Origami Bike
Look what the Razor Scooters did…they made someone invent this seemingly awkward looking bike. I wonder if I can train and compete in the Tour de France with this. It’ll run about $300 bucks and fold using a unique three click telescopic mechanism.Â
