How to Make a Starbucks Latte at Home

kirkland starbucks espresso beans coffee How to Make a Starbucks Latte at Home

Starbucks is a necessity for a lot of people, but it’s also quite expensive, and very fattening. A grande sized latte runs $4.12, and at two lattes per day that comes out to $41.20 for a 5 day work week, $164.80 per month, and $1,977.60 per year. I’m going to show you how to make the same latte for about $0.10 to $0.20 per grande sized cup at home, or in your office in about 5 minutes or less. At 2 lattes per day it would cost $96 per year, so you could save 1,881.60 per year by making your own lattes. Here’s how.

Starbucks Gives Away Coffee to Voters

free starbucks for voting Starbucks Gives Away Coffee to Voters

Starbucks has announced they will give anyone who comes in and says they voted a FREE cup of coffee. I hope that includes a latte. However, in California the law doesn’t allow giveaways to encourage people to either vote or not vote. Other companies are simply giving away their products on November 4, and you don’t have to say you voted. You might want to get up early on November 4, to take advantage of all the giveaways.

Free Wi-Fi for iPhones at Starbucks

attwifiiphone Free Wi Fi for iPhones at Starbucks

AT&T has flip flopped again on the issue of free Wi-Fi for iPhones at all AT&T hotspots. First, they said "free Wi-Fi for iPhones" then they said "NO!" Now I guess that they have kissed and made up.

My question is why this is only available for iPhone users? Why not make it available for all data plans? I will be the proud owner of a Blackberry Bold on November 4th, celebrating the victory of Barack Obama, and I want to be sipping my machiatto while following the election via twitter directly from my Bold. Make it happen AT&T!

AT&T and Starbucks have jointly announced plans to offer a mix of free and paid Wi-Fi service at more than 7,000 company-operated Starbucks locations across the United States. According to the company, the Starbucks Card holders can enjoy up to two hours of free Wi-Fi service per day at Starbucks stores, while AT&T’s broadband Internet customers and Starbucks employees can enjoy unlimited free Wi-Fi Internet access, starting this spring.

“People want to stay connected to their world 24/7, and Wi-Fi hot spots, broadband and wireless make that mobility possible,” said Rick Welday, AT&T chief marketing officer, Consumer. “Laptops and smartphones give us the online mobility we crave, and now millions of AT&T and Starbucks customers will get Internet access free from the comfort of their neighborhood Starbucks.”

“This is what our customers have been waiting for — free Starbucks-quality Wi-Fi,” said Chris Bruzzo, chief technology officer, Starbucks Coffee Company. “Through our new partnership with AT&T, we also welcome their millions of current customers who can now come in and enjoy free Wi-Fi as part of their daily Starbucks Experience.”

“Our new relationship with AT&T gives us the opportunity to expand and enhance the range of digital entertainment experiences for our customers as well as our partners, including the continued rollout of the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store at Starbucks,” said Ken Lombard, president, Starbucks Entertainment.
