Zeppelin Speaker

8 2 07 zeppelin Zeppelin Speaker

Named the Zeppelin iPod speaker, the shape rather reminds me of the M&Ms chocolate covered almonds (or perhaps I am just obsessing on chocolate).

The picture belies the actual size of 2 feet! That’s a whopping 24 inches of sleek sexiness. From Bowers & Wilkins, this new high-end iPod speaker has a five-inch woofer, glass-fiber cones, tweeters, a 100-watt amplifier, and connectivity to send images (pictures/video) to a TV.

Not cheap at $599, but that’s why it is termed "high-end."

Okay, so Argos hasn’t really invented a teddy bear guru. Instead, it’s the iTeddy, an MP3 player with LCD, speakers, and 512MB of RAM (which seems a little light, given all the space available). The media player is detachable, and there’s an SD slot. Should be available soon for $123.

Speaker/Lamp Hybrid Confuses Model – and the Rest of Us

sony hana Speaker/Lamp Hybrid Confuses Model and the Rest of Us

See the look on the model’s face? That’s either confusion, or someone’s making a rude gesture just off-picture. I’d be confused, too, though, at Sony’s "Hana" speaker/lamp/MP3 combo concept thing. It’s an MP3 player that supplies the tunes and pumps them out loud, all the while providing some nice (soft?) LED lighting to keep the mood just right. There’s just something about this that makes me think of products looking desperately for markets. That, or it’s the look on the model’s face. Either way.

Brando, Brando, Brando… We understand that you have a USB fetish. But Angel USB speakers (about which I can only speculate the quality)? Even if they look like Ballerinas, and only cost $10, I mean, Brando. You need to get help. If you sell millions of these, then it’s the rest of us that need to see someone.
