SE Xperia Panel Interface Modded to Work on HTC Touch HD - Video
Several modders at the xda-developers forum have taken on a rather ridiculous project. They’ve gotten the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 panel interface to work on the HTC Touch HD. From watching the video, it looks like X1 installs, launches and works without too much of a speed difference.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X1A is now available for pre-order on the Best Buy website. The phone will retail for $799.99 and will be absolutely unlocked. There is no word on how the retail price will go down when accompanied with a contract or plan.
