Cray Creates World’s Fastest Supercomputer - XT Jaguar

Seattle company Cray has created the world’s fastest supercomputer. Their XT Jaguar is comprised of over 45,000 quad-core Opteron processors, 362GB of memory, and has a 10PB (petabyte) storage array, able to perform calculations at 1.64 petaflops.

Crunchgear reports a sighting of purportedly the first iPhone kiosk in Seattle. The display includes a looping video of the user interface and docks to charge iPods.
