Replica of Star Trek Tribbles Promise to not Over-Run Your Home

YouBuyNow.com has begun selling replicas of the cute and annoying Star Trek furry, Tribbles. The replicas will shake and coo just like the real thing. They’ll even get agitated and want to be left alone, just like the real thing. Unlike the real thing, thankfully, these Tribble replicas will not reproduce at an alarming rate and take over your life in a matter of hours.
They are due to ship in early 2009 and each Tribble will cost $28.

The Aliens Exosuit Was Real: Check Out This Enryu T-53

All of you sci-fi fans certainly see the similarity between this Japanese support robot, the Enryu T-53, and the exosuit that Ripley used to do away with the queen alien in Aliens. Or am I the only one geeky enough for that? In any case, this is a rather impressive piece of hardware, although unfortunately pressed into service following an earthquake in Niigata, Japan.

NerdFind – Space Man Moppel LED Light

This is just what every person needs: a little robot man to hold your things and give you a lighting source at the same time. The Space Man Moppel, at about 12 inches tall, looks slightly (okay, very much) like an extra from a cheap sci-fi movie and greets you with very spindly arms, legs and head. The legs sticks by magnet so you can attach the Space Man Moppel to the desk or table, or anywhere you require your new servant. One arm is attached to a sturdy alligator clip and the other arm comes with kung-fu grip. Well, not exactly, but you can place a pen, or some paper clips in it. Same thing, really. The head glows with luminous LED light when the appropriate button is pushed. Too bad it can’t talk.
The Space Man Moppel retails at $29.99 and uses one 9V battery, which is included.
