Barack Obama Plans to Conduct Weekly Chats Via Youtube
In a Web 2.0 update of FDR’s famous fireside chats, President-Elect Barack Obama has pledged to film weekly chats that can be viewed on the Youtube video streaming service. This comes as no surprise, given that during his campaign he uploaded over 1,100 videos and racked up over 110 million views.

WFR-20 Internet Radio
I hope they put all their efforts into the technology of this Wi-Fi radio, because they certainly ignored design..
This rather ugly thing is the Sangean WiFi internet radio (WFR-20) which offers up "direct access to over 6,000 Internet Radio stations (and 21,242 on-demand streams) in 250 locations from 60 genres," and you can organize your [...]
Now Sirius Release New Radio - Stiletto 2
Okay, I’m going to go ahead and make the assumption that I’m behind the times, and that both XM and Sirius are designing radios that will work with both systems. Or, that when the merger’s complete, there will be only one system. Because they both continue to release new, competing radios. This one, the Stiletto [...]

Samsung Yepp YP-P2 Overcomes Goofy Name with Some Style
Samsung’s been making some nice things lately, but what’s with the naming? The Yepp (Yepp?!?) YP-P2 is a lovely critter, and quite svelte: only 100 X 52 X 9.2mm. That’s thinner than a runway model… (I’ll leave it at that). Specs:
Up to 8GB Flash storage
3-inch, 428 X 240 pixel touch-screen
Integrated speaker and mike
Integrated FM radio
Integrated [...]
Onkyo’s Bose Ripoffs

Prices are $361 for the CBX-Z10 and $420 for the CBX-Z2.

You read it right. FREE cell phone service. How is [...]

Lenart Studio Pimps the Surfboard Right
It’s embarrassing enough that I live within 5 minutes of Malibu (one surfing spot in Southern California, for those who don’t live around these parts) and don’t surf. If I did, I certainly wouldn’t be able to afford Lenart Studios’ GPS, LCD, and two-way radio-equipped uber-surfboard. I mean, the thing can alert emergency services if [...]

Tivoli Crystal Radio Would Look Lovely in a Nice Hutch
It’s an AM/FM radio, people, in lovely handcrafted crystal! I mean, come on! and only around $5,800, to boot! Tivoli has got it going on! Okay, enough with the exclamation marks. Again, this is one of those "if you have to ask the price…" moments. I’m sure it’s lovely, and it’ll fit someone’s decor. Just [...]
