AT&T Releases Quickfire a Couple of Days Early

The AT&T Quickfire, also known as the Knick, has gone on sale a few days early. The handset was scheduled to debut on November 10th, but reports are coming in that some lucky consumers have already gotten their hands on them. The asking price for the device is $149.99 with a $50 dollar mail in rebate. This price, per usual, requires a two year contract. Word on the street is the units were snatched up early at an unnamed AT&T store.
AT&T Quickfire Available November 10th

The release date for the AT&T Quickfire has been leaked and is said to hit stores starting November 10th. This "Sidekick-ish" phone is AT&T’s effort to challenge T-mobile and their successful Sidekick sales, only about two years too late.
The Quickfire will cost $99 with a two year contract, $299 without. It looks as if the Quickfire will be running it’s own proprietary OS. The device also will feature a touch scree, full slide out QWERTY, GPS, 3G, media player and comes in nifty colors. Take that Sidekick!
