
Pioneer Releases Inno XMP3 Portable Satellite Radio for XM Users

The reviews are out on the Pioneer Inno XMP3 portable satellite radio. The consensus: It doesn’t suck. It’s found to be quite good actually. CNET placed it at the top of it’s category. It’s been noted that the reception sees definitive improvement over previous models. The sound quality and GUI were both signaled out for excellence. Additionally, the unit allows for a MicroSDHC card for more memory. It’s available now for you XM subscribers out there. The Inno costs $279.

Pioneer introduces two new DVD burners with Qflix technology

Qflix, the hottest of the hot in DVD burning technology, has wormed it’s way into two new Pioneer burners. The DVR-2920Q and DVR-X162Q will allow you to burn CinemaNow movies onto specially-keyed blank DVDs. Each drive is also bundled with Roxio Venue software to help with that testy download-to-DVD process. Each drive comes with Roxio CinePlayer as well, if you hate televisions and would prefer to watch stuff alone on your laptop. Curled up with an empty bag of Cheetos balled in one hand. Get a grip man.

Pioneer In-Dash Nav

For $1600 you can have Pioneer’s latest in-dash navigation system. The AVIC-X3 comes with a motorized, flip-out seven-inch touchscreen, optional iPod / Bluetooth compatibility, CD or DVD playback, XM / XM NavTraffic-readiness, and a Tele Atlas database.
Need music? It’s got that too with MP3, WMA, AAC, and DivX. Or use the CD-BTB200 adapter to wirelessly stream form your mobile handset.
