Apple has yet another patent, this one for new generations of iPods that would refuse to charge if stolen. The device would recognize if  plugged into an unauthorized computer by a security code link. If the codes on the player and the computer don&#8217;t match up, it just won&#8217;t charge &#8211; in essence, self-destructing.
