Perspective

This young man, Michal Tatarkiewicz is brilliant. Now, I know this really isn’t gadget related but it’s still Nerd worthy. This guy is drawing a subway in full scale in a gallery for an art/design showing. You aren’t likely to get any more obsessively geeky.
My grade on his project: Smelly but really cool

These people arn’t as happy as they seem

Here is an invention that I find funny. What you are looking at, is a dual umbrella. Its purpose is to make shelter from the rain more comfortable for two people. There are a couple problems with this one though, who really travels in pairs? and would you really sport this monstrosity? I can see it now: Lonely Nerd Grind reader wants to score himself a sweet honey, and being that it is gloomy and raining outside he finds himself sporting the dual umbrella. Hot girl walks by, he winks signaling her to join him. She laughs.
rejected.
Dual umbrella – not a good idea.

AT&T wireless CEO Ralph de la Vega mentioning in an interview on Friday that they’d talked to Google about joining the OHA and are "analyzing the situation" might seem like grist for the rumor mill (and headlines), but it probably isn’t news.
So, what am I trying to say here? Absolutely nothing.

Low Res Man!

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s…Low-Res Man! Lifesize sculpture created by Thomas Broome. We’re not sure exactly what resolution he is, but he’s made out of 1cm acrylic glass cubes.
It’s too bad Broome hasn’t made a version that walks; you could use it to drive security-camera watchers nuts.

Firetrucks 2.0

Fire trucks are too slow, when a fire breaks out they are at the scene days, even months later. (Although my girlfriend says otherwise) Well, here is a modified truck that will get anywhere to any fire in almost no time at all. That right folks, it’s a fire truck with a MIG 16 jet engine.
Top Gun for firemen. I’ll be Iceman. You can be Goose
