I have always been a fan of Sony Ericsson phones, ever since I had my hands on the s710 and w600…the w600 was my favorite. Their swivels were awesome units that always came through in regards to functionality.  A little weary with their flip phones, I think this new one coming out will definately make it a popular one for quite awhile.  It’s their first 3G phone in America, so you can download and browse the internet faster than ever before.  Plus they look nice and sleek. 

It comes with a 2.0 megapixel camera, the necessary expandle memory for music/photo files, and it even comes in…pink?  Ladies…look pretty in pink without having a Razor.

Another one of Motorola’s popular phone, the Pebble, is now going to include MP3 music capability, much like the ROKR, SLVR, and new RAZOR.  The usb port looks to be right at the bottom to transfer your already illegal downloads.  Looks cool, hopefully it’ll sound good right?

Just when you thought it was safe to go back on the road (in South Korea), along comes the Thinkware iNAVI G1 GPS which not only has all the new fangled GPS features, such as music and video playback, but also throws Karaoke into the mix. It’s only for South Korea, and so don’t hold your breath. And if you visit that country and see people singing to themselves as the they drive, well, just stay out of their way.

This has recently been on the news, so it might slightly more credible that a rumor lurking in a message board. Everyone has been subject to a rather nasty thunderstorm, the kind that sets off all the car alarms and uproots all the trees in the neighborhood. As you may have noticed, whether through unfortunate circumstances or otherwise, any small electronic objects that are on your person at the time are not safe, especially iPods.

Apparently, there are a large number of iPod and iPod-esque contraptions and people are getting (or already were) sick of them. Chris Williams attempted to counteract this problem and created the Musipen. Its most noticeable feature is the cylindrical shape and lack of any scroll buttons. Volume and music selection is selected by turning the end piece around and around, with all the data being displayed in the bright blue interface.

No plans are in store to release this product to the public, but it does give us a glimpse of nice future where your typical rectangular-shaped music gadget might be more of an option than the norm.
