Earth Trek has dubbed their webcam the "hottest webcam" in the world. All boasts aside, it’s still a pretty nifty unit. It packs a 1.3-megapixel camera, VGA capture abilities, auto focus / auto brightness and a 2-port USB hub. Those extra peripheral ports sure do seem handy.

Nikon D3x Medium-Format Camera Gets Formally Announced – Specs Leaked

The long rumored and medium-format friendly Nikon D3x will be profiled in an upcoming issue of Nikon Pro Magazine. The information has leaked and details have surfaced regarding the coming super-camera. The features list is exhausted, including 24.5-megapixels, 51-point autofocus and a 922,000-dot LCD screen. Here are some more specs:
• World’s highest-res SLR with Live View
• 51-point MultiCAM3500FX autofocus system
• Scene Recognition System
• Expeed 16-bit processing to handle detail on the 75MB image files
• 3-inch, 922,000-dot LCD
• 35.9mm x 24mm FX format sensor (If you can’t think in metric, that’s 1.4" x 0.94")
• Weather-resistant magnesium body
• Designed for medium-format shooting
• ISO range of 100-1600 with a Lo1 (equivalent to ISO 50) with boosts up to ISO 6400
• 24.5-megapixel shooting at up to 5fps; cropped 10-megapixel shooting at up to 7fps
• 12ms start-up time; 41ms shutter-release lag time
• Writes files to dual CF slots at 35MB/s

AT&T Confirms it Will be Offering Symbian S60-based Nokia 6650 on Contract Tomorrow

AT&T will be offering the Symbian S60 on contract. The carrier will be bringing the S60-based Nokia 6650 into its lineup soon, the company made official today. The 3G-capable 6650 comes in red and silver and will be available for purchase tomorrow. It comes with a 2-megapixel camera, 2.2-inch QVGA display, AT&T Navigator, Video Share and a Mobile Music system. It costs $69.99 with a 2-year agreement.

Samsung Cleo Finally Launches – Canada Only

The Samsung Cleo has long been rumored for a release, but nobody could have predicted it’d be a Canadian exclusive. This fashion-conscious square flip phone includes a QWERTY keyboard, color LCD screen, 1.3-megapixel camera, MP3 playback, and expandable memory up to 8GB. More importantly, the attractive 2.5-inch by 3-inch phone comes in a variety of colors, including champagne. The phone has officially been launched in Canada, but there is still no word on pricing.

Mintpass Releases their Touchscreen-enabled Digital Note Taker in South Korea

South Korean tech company Mintpass has released their Mintpad, a digitized note taker. The gadget allows you to take and share notes on the fly, using a fully-functional touchscreen. In addition, the Mintpad has WiFi, a media player, 1.3-megapixel camera, microphone, built-in speaker and 4GB of memory with microSD expansion. The 320 x 240 touchscreen measures 2.9-inches of pure note-passing goodness.
Currently, the unit is only available in South Korea for about $156. No word on when it will legitimately reach these shores.
