10 3 07 euri box Just In Case Case

Euri Inc’s Euricase (which should be called Just In Case) is an unnecessary ring case equipped with a 2-inch LCD display with a clock, alarm, calendar and photo album. Featuring LED perimeter lighting to make the ring stand out is good for when the ring is in the box only. One hopes the bride-to-be will be wearing it – no?

belkin Belkins N1 Vision Router So Sexy it Should Wear Clothes

Belkin’s been making some nice gear lately, and this beauty joins the best of it. The N1 Vision wireless router supports 802.11n draft 2.0, as well as /b and /g (but no /a), but its the LCD that shows network performance that tickles my fancy. It can display overall network performance, as well as utilization by host. Nifty. Pricing? Heck, who cares about pricing?

xtg630 Augmentix XTG630 Has Your Back

Take a Dell Latitude, slap on some military-grade protective materials, waterproof it, and design it for temperature extremes from -4F to 140F, and what do you have? The Augmentix XTG630, one tough notebook. The specs aren’t too shabby, either:

  • 14.1 inch LCD
  • Core 2 Duo processor
  • Up to 4GB RAM
  • Removable 80GB HDD plus 32GB SSD
  • Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics
  • Bluetooth 2.0
  • 802.11 a/g/n (draft)
  • EVDO or HSDPA
  • All the ports any rugged type would need

It can function in 4-inches of rain an hour and 95% humidity, and take a fall from up to 3 feet. Makes me feel like a weak, frail being, because I certainly couldn’t handle some of that abuse.

dreamtop Is it An Alarm Clock? An iPod Speaker System? Or What?

Well, maybe it’s just both. The Logitech Pure-Fi Dream system, at $250, provides both (one assumes) decent sound–according to Logitech, "premium bedroom audio system" sound–via .75 inch tweeters and 3 inch woofers, and a fairly advanced (?) alarm clock. Along with the pedestrian specs of dual alarms, it does provide motion-sensitive controls to avoid the snooze button. An LCD provides info from the iPod, which given its placements seems just a teeny-tiny bit redundant.

If you have a tyke that’s just got it goin’ on for Winnie the Pooh, the the Aigo MV5910 PMP may be just the ticket. As you can see, it sports the Disney logo (which of course added some to the cost) and the controller is all Winnie (which also added some to the cost). It’s a decent device, I suppose, with the following specs:

  • 3.5-inch LCD
  • AV output
  • SD slot
  • Image viewer
  • 2GB internal storage
  • Up to 16 hours of battery life
  • Supports VOB, RM/RMVB, AVI, ASF, MPEG, and DAT (VCD)
  • On the audio side, supports RealMedia, MP3, and WMA

In US currency, it’s $224, which is a bit pricey, but again, it’s Disney’s Winnie the Pooh we’re talking about. For some people, that’s worth real money.
