The long rumored and medium-format friendly Nikon D3x will be profiled in an upcoming issue of Nikon Pro Magazine. The information has leaked and details have surfaced regarding the coming super-camera. The features list is exhausted, including 24.5-megapixels, 51-point autofocus and a 922,000-dot LCD screen. The camera isn’t due until next year so sit tight.

The Samsung Syncmaster 2494HS may be missing the Samsung-standard glossy black bezel, but it still sports some serious attributes.

The screen is 23.6-inches and the matte black motif manages to merge business with, well, business rather effectively. The resolution clocks in at 1,920 x 1,080 and the SyncMaster offers 300 nits of brightness. There is also a 5-millisecond response time, 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, inbuilt stereo speakers and DVI / VGA / HDMI inputs.

The LCD goes on sale next month in Japan for approximately ¥40,000 ($423). It is rumored to be coming to the USA and European Union shortly thereafter.

Kmart has unleashed some new information regarding their forthcoming Black Friday sale. There are certainly some bargains to be had. You can snag a 2GB Element MP3 player for $22.99, a 19-inch Sony Bravia M Series LCD HDTV for just $374.99, and a GE A835 digital camera for $79.99. The sale starts this coming Sunday and runs through the week until the titular Black Friday. Head on over to your local Kmart and check it out.

The Samsung Cleo has long been rumored for a release, but nobody could have predicted it’d be a Canadian exclusive. This fashion-conscious square flip phone includes a QWERTY keyboard, color LCD screen, 1.3-megapixel camera, MP3 playback, and expandable memory up to 8GB. More importantly, the attractive 2.5-inch by 3-inch phone comes in a variety of colors, including champagne. The phone has officially been launched in Canada, but there is still no word on pricing.

Eizo announced that they are ready to ship a new FlexScan monitor, the S24232W-H LCD monitor with DisplayPort. The 24-inch monitor includes a native WUXGA resolution (1,920 x 1,200), 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 360 cd/m2 brightness and a response time of 16 milliseconds. It also sports an ambient light sensor, HDCP compatibility and the titular DisplayPort. The unit will ship next month in Japan and will cost around $938.
