

Thieves Clean Out an Apple Store in 31 Seconds – Video

In Marlton, New Jersey thieves broke the store front window of an Apple store, then proceeded to steel 23 Macbook Pros, 14 iPhones, and 9 iPod Touches, all in 31 seconds.
The thieves fooled a security guard into thinking they had a gun in the security surveillance video obtained by WPVI-TV.
The loss was nearly $100,000 worth of merchandise that was on display. At the moment police have no idea who the thieves are because they all kept their faces covered.
This takes smash-and-grab to a whole new level.

Apple iPod Touch Gets Google Street View Hack – Runs Game Faster Than iPhone 3G

The iPod Touch can finally join its brother, the iPhone 3G, in offering Google Street View. You’ll have to jailbreak your Touch in order to use it, however. Click here for step by step instructions so you can creepily eye the house your ex-girlfriend used to live at. Apple offers no word on when and if the iPod Touch will receive a legitimate use of Google Street View. It probably won’t be long considering the recent iPhone firmware 2.2 upgrade featured legit functionality.
Also, the video below highlights another coup for the iPod Touch. The 2G Touch is pitted against an original Touch, an original iPhone and a 3G iPhone in a game of TouchSport Tennis. It handily beats all three in load times. Not bad, little guy.

Hitachi Maxell Releases Noise-Canceling iPod Headphones – No Separate Power Required

Hitachi Maxell has released a pair of noise-canceling headphones that work a bit differently from their cousins. The HP-NC20 headphones don’t require separate power. They simply connect to iPods via the dock connector. They manage about 20dB of noise reduction via their "Active Noise Rejection" system. They also manage to reduce your battery life by as much as 50%. The headphones will also only work with 4th gen or later iPods and iPod touches. They do not work with the iPhone. They are available now for about $80.

German Company Releases Bacon Case for iPhone and iPod

A German company has created The Bacon Case, a pork-styled case for your iPod. It comes in different sizes, and at least one can even fit the iPhone. The Babe-hating cases sell for 25 Euro and can be purchased on the company’s website here.


Target Black Friday Ad Leaked – Many Deals to be Had

The ad featuring Target’s Black Friday specials has leaked and there are certainly deals to be had. They are offering a 750GB USB 2.0 drive from WD for $88.88, AND AN 8GB iPod Nano with a $15 gift card for just $145. They are also offering a Nintendo DS with a copy of New Super Mario Bros. for Just $150.
