6 19 07 sprint clearwire 2 Hope for Ubiquitous Wireless Internet Access

Sprint and Clearwire have apparently hooked up to deliver WiMAX to a combined 300 million people (that’s just about all of us Americans, folks) over the next few years. 100 million should be frolicking wrecklessly with wireless connections by the end of 2008. The deal is set for 20 years, with options for 10-year renewals. All the talk about lack of competition in high-speed Internet access seems a little silly now, as I’m sure the other telcos and cable companies will be scrambling. Of course, it all depends on the pricing, of which there’s as yet no sign.

I have always been a fan of Sony Ericsson phones, ever since I had my hands on the s710 and w600…the w600 was my favorite. Their swivels were awesome units that always came through in regards to functionality.  A little weary with their flip phones, I think this new one coming out will definately make it a popular one for quite awhile.  It’s their first 3G phone in America, so you can download and browse the internet faster than ever before.  Plus they look nice and sleek.

It comes with a 2.0 megapixel camera, the necessary expandle memory for music/photo files, and it even comes in…pink?  Ladies…look pretty in pink without having a Razor.

topicinternet 40 Gbps Internet Connection

A 75-year-old woman from Karlstad in central Sweden has been given a scorching 40 Gbps internet connection — the fastest residential connection anywhere in the world. Sigbritt Löthberg is the mother of Swedish internet guru Peter Löthberg, who is using his mother to prove that fiber networks can deliver a cost-effective, ultra-fast connection. Sigbritt, who has never owned a computer before, can now watch 1,500 HDTV channels simultaneously or download a whole high definition DVD in two seconds.

I just want to know when I can have that – or if I can adopt Peter Löthberg.
