Summit Products has come out with an ATM Machine for the home.  It’s called the YOUniverse ATM Machine.  Ok, so it’s not a new find, but this thing is still ahead of its time.  It can be wall-mounted, and can deliver cash faster than a trip to your local bank.  For less than the cost of an ATM withdrawal, it can be had on the web.  Sure it’s intended for kids, who need to learn the value of a dollar, but this thing looks cool.  It has its own ATM card, and you create your own personal PIN number, so that no one but you, can get to your hard earned cash. It even talks to you with a robotic sounding voice, and tells you what to do.  Maybe it is for the kids, but if they had this gadget around when I was a kid, I might have listened.

Alienware displays yet another product to its innovative, and slightly creepy looking, computer retail line. This time it’s the Area 51 m9750 Notebook. The screen is 17" and includes Intel Core 2 Duo mobile processors and dual 512MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7950 GTX graphics cards with NVIDIA SLI technology.

So, for those of you who are planning on getting Apple’s iPhone and worried about waiting long hours getting them activated on AT&T’s service, no need to worry. The duo just announced that once you get the iPhone in your impatient little hands, you can activate the service all in your own dungeon.

Users will be able to activate their new iPhone in the comfort and privacy of their own home or office, without having to wait in a store while their phone is activated.

You can easily sync your contact information and your media from your iPod with the iPhone at the same time activating it yourself with the new user interface is truely awesome and cumbersome.

There are tens of millions of people in the US who already know how to sync their iPods with iTunes, and syncing their new iPhone with iTunes works the same way.

Unlike other home theater rooms, this Star Trek-inspired creation uses real props from past movies.

Gary Sekulow collected backlit graphic panels from Star Trek: The Next Generation and Voyager, the captain’s chair from Star Trek: Enterprise and numerous props from other Star Trek series and movies, and commissioned an Atlanta home theater installer to put the whole thing together.

Quite impressive for a guy who just wanted to watch some home movies.

Gary Sekulow, Star Trek fanatic, wanted a viewing center that was in the likeness of his favorite show, Star Trek. After buying two original bridge consoles at a Christie’s auction, Sekulow discovered that he didn’t have the space to fit the consoles into the room. The pieces were then switched into another room, and installed with other memorabilia found from various Star Trek movies. The result: a very identical replica of the captain’s bridge. It even comes equipped with the captain’s chair from Star Trek: Enterprise. Fan boys, eat your heart out.
