classic gamecube controller wii Man Hacks Nintendo GameCube Controller for Use on the Wii Video

Everyone has a few old GameCube controllers laying around. Rather than throwing out the cash one of those Classic Controllers for your Wii in order to play some of that retro content, why not give this hack a try instead?

It allows you to convert ancient Cube controllers into Wii-ready peripherals. The hack does require the purchase of a PIC18F4520 microcontroller, though. Which may just offset the price of the hack in the first price. Still, the video is intriguing at least.

dui duiphone iphone Introducing DuIphone iPhone App that Measures Breath for Alcohol Content

There is a new Breathalyzer iPhone app in the neighborhood, DuiPhone. The cleverly named hack measures the alcohol content in your breath to see if you are sober enough to drive. This can also be told without the use of an iPhone app by if the room is spinning or not.

Also, by hack we don’t mean your usual "tinker with some code" type thing. You have to literally affix a Breathalyzer to the back of your iPhone. If you have that kind of time on your hands, and you are an alcoholic, this might be a match made in drunken heaven. Check the video below:

The iPod Touch can finally join its brother, the iPhone 3G, in offering Google Street View. You’ll have to jailbreak your Touch in order to use it, however. Click here for step by step instructions so you can creepily eye the house your ex-girlfriend used to live at. Apple offers no word on when and if the iPod Touch will receive a legitimate use of Google Street View. It probably won’t be long considering the recent iPhone firmware 2.2 upgrade featured legit functionality.

Also, the video below highlights another coup for the iPod Touch. The 2G Touch is pitted against an original Touch, an original iPhone and a 3G iPhone in a game of TouchSport Tennis. It handily beats all three in load times. Not bad, little guy.

dell mini 9 touchscreen support Dell Mini 9 Netbook Hacked to Offer Touchscreen Support

The Dell Mini 9 is one mod-friendly netbook. First people hacked OSX support. Then, someone figured out a way a rig a working GPS unit into the system. And now? A user named Deldotb of the myDellMini forums has turned the screen into a functional touchscreen.

They did it by strapping on one of those eBay touch panels and loading the appropriate Ubuntu drivers. It seems rather easy to do, the only negative being the loss of a USB port. Below is a video they made to show off the discovery. What’s next for the little netbook that could? Minesweeper?
