Guns N’ Roses Debuts New Album on Myspace Music – First in 17 Years

At 9 PM PST last night, Guns N’ Roses debuted their first album in 17 years on Myspace Music. The album entitled Chinese Democracy, is their first album since 1991. Myspace users and fans are able to listen to, but not download, the album in its entirety on the group’s Myspace page.

Illegal copies of the album have been floating around BitTorrent for the past couple weeks but last night was the official ’soft launch’ of the album. The album is available to preview in 25 countries including: US, Canada, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, UK and Japan.
It’s important to remember that downloading the music on BitTorrent is illegal, but listening to it on Myspace from the fans website is perfectly legal. The CD album goes on sale November 23rd at Bestbuy.
