Gresso Adam & Eve

Sure – let’s kill more trees for nothing. Gresso’s 1GB USB drives waste African mahogany (adorned with 18-karat gold, Swarovski crystals, and white diamonds), cost $100 to $1000 for a gizmo you can get for cheap anywhere!

24kt Gold & Diamonds Macbook Pro

Here is another wasteful indulgence — Computer Choppers has put together a Gold-plated MacBook Pro, with an appropriately diamond studded Apple logo.Better to spend that extra money to save the planet.

18K iPod Shuffle
![]()
This would be the first on the list of things to buy if I was to ever was to sideline as a pimp. The gold-colored iPod shuffle was given a tour through Germany by German Company Xexoo as a way to piggyback on the success gained from the gold (old-school) iPod. And yes, that is real 18 carat gold. And no, it isn’t cheap. It is said to cost about 14,000 EUR, or $19,343 for us yanks. If you’re impressed enough by a precious metal that you will gladly shell out thousands of dollars for 1GB of music, then by all means, this is right player for you.
But, wait! There’s more! If gold isn’t quite up to your standard (I’m more a fan of silver, myself), you will have another option for your iPod in the near future. Just think…diamonds.

Expensive Dressup

Xexoo’s gilded 2G Shuffle is for those who just do not know what to do with their money. For €14,000 ($19,320) you can gild your player in 18-karat gold. But you get a wooden box and a real certificate with it!
Anyone ever hear of charity?
