Sources indicate that the new MacBooks are having a problem with their trackpads. Apparently, every 50 or so clicks the trackpad freezes up for 5 to 10 clicks until it wakes up.

As of yet, nobody is sure what is causing the glitch. Popular consensus seems to be that it is a software problem and not a problem with the trackpad itself. If you have one of the infected Macbook Pros, you can apply a quick bandaid fix. Go to the Trackpad option on System Preferences and move the slider for "Tracking Speed" up one notch.
