hindsight Hindsight Cyclist Glasses make riding safer also look cool

The Nike Hindsight cyclist’s glasses from designer Billy May are made to stop bikers from getting hurt on the road. This is good news as I am a clutz and get in more biking pratfalls than a drunken clown.

How they work: At the extended side of each lens is a carefully arranged high-powered Fresnel lens. This lens captures the view to the sides of the biker’s head. The view is then sent to the peripheral vision. Only a sense of movement is noted by the wearer so the extra imaging won’t distract against the front and center vision. This will, hopefully, prevent against side-swiping, being attacked by errant bears etc.

Below is another photo of the unit "in action." Enjoy.

glasses pic PC games come to life with 3D Glasses

Didn’t you wish as a child as you wore your 3D glasses, everything you saw was in 3D? Well, here’s a company that came up with a wired/wireless 3D glasses that allows you to play your PC games and have it virtually come to life.  They also have some for your DVDs and TV…why not jump out of your seats with everything your eyes are on?

Play the new StarCraft with this and your sure to have UFOs floating in your room.

The feeling of depth enhanced the visuals by a factor of ten. When I rolled in on my ground targets, I found that my aiming of rockets and bombs was actually a lot better in 3D than in 2D.
