VROOM!

Haven’t you always dreamed of having your own private plane? You know, nothing fancy, just a little single engined low-wing tail-dragger that you could cruise around in? Imagine it: “Cubicle tower, this is USB Two-Zero-Oscar-Golf-Zulu holding short on runway Desk, requesting takeoff clearance…â€
although it doesn’t quite fly, it’s still pretty cool. Soon to be available from Kikkerland.

USB Vendor Outdoes Itself in Creating Lamest Device

If I didn’t know better, I’d think there was a contest amongst USB manufacturers over who could make the worst possible product. These guys are in the lead so far, I imagine, with their USB-powered necktie fan. Pay me enough money, I might use this in the office, but then again, I work at home, so that’s not saying a lot.

USB Hub Looks Like Medical Device of the Future

Can you imagine the poking and prodding this thing could do? If one imagines it larger than it really it, it’s actually quite frightening. But as a combination USB/Firewire hub, it’s pretty remarkable in a very dense field. Made by Ora-Ito, "The Hub" includes dual USB extension cables, a standard USB cable, a miniUSB cable, a USB fan and a USB light. I’m sure there’s artificial intelligence in there that wakes up the moment you place it on your desk, that performs alien medical experiments, but if you’re willing to take a chance it’s reasonably priced at $90.
