Sony is offering repairs on the casings of "Cyber-shot" DSC-T5, which were released on the market in September 2005. The metal bottom plating on these units can warp and thus create a sharp edge which can then cut a user’s hands.
This affects about 66,000 of the cameras sold in Japan, and another 350,000 sold in the US, Europe, and China. See Sony site
