Machine of Doom

Believe it or not, this is an espresso machine! It was done by a Swiss artist/designer Carlo Borer who is not only very talented, but has an affinity for steel sculpture. If i had the $$ I would definitly get me one of these puppies.

Perspective

This young man, Michal Tatarkiewicz is brilliant. Now, I know this really isn’t gadget related but it’s still Nerd worthy. This guy is drawing a subway in full scale in a gallery for an art/design showing. You aren’t likely to get any more obsessively geeky.

Enhanced Drivers Licenses

Two states are implementing RFID Enhanced Driver Licenses in 2008. Vermont and Washington have designed these for easier border crossing into Canada and Mexico. Critics charge that the radio frequency identification chips are to be used to monitor shipments of cargo, not people.

Toothbrush Couch?

This neat looking thing is actually a couch. Designed by some student at the University of God Knows, this couch is meant to give you a massage while the lazy person reclines. If you ask me, the only think this couch is good for is blocking peoples view of the TV.

A Great Camera Gets Better

Pentax has released its made-over version of its K100D. With the "Super" in its designation now, it comes with a dust-removal system, SDM lens support, ISO 3200 mode, a much lower price of $600, 6.1 megapixels, 11-point autofocus, dual LCD displays and SD card support.
