Posted on October 17, 2008 at 6:27 am (PST)

The Scope 2 RGB LED watch has been thrust upon the world and we may never be the same again. All of us children of the 80s just about passed out at the very site of this ridiculous looking thing. It just looks cool.

Posted on October 17, 2008 at 6:03 am (PST)

Lubitel has released their 166+ model camera. The hook is that it uses real film. No joke. Let the digital vs analog rivalry begin anew. The new camera is an update to a classic 1970s model and it certainly wears it’s design aesthetic on it’s sleeve.

Neonode concept gadgets

Posted on January 9, 2008 at 11:17 am (PST)

It was this concept art that drew me into the Neonode exhibit, and i have to admit, the concept art is super cool. These guys are taking trends to new extremes.
Neonode is also demoing a cellphone that they’re going to release commercially in summer of this year, called the N2. It’s smaller than a [...]

Posted on January 8, 2008 at 7:57 am (PST)

Internet Radio is super cool, my favorite is Pandora. Anyways,  FlyTunes is simply a web application accessible via Safari, which allows users to customize stations on their PC / Mac and then login and listen from the phone. Pretty sweet for you iphone junkies.

This young man, Michal Tatarkiewicz is brilliant. Now, I know this really isn’t gadget related but it’s still Nerd worthy. This guy is drawing a subway in full scale in a gallery for an art/design showing. You aren’t likely to get any more obsessively geeky.
My grade on his project: Smelly but really cool

It’s surprisingly cool, in a weird first of the month kind [...]
