NY Subway Cellphone Access

All 277 underground stations of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority will be wired for cellphone use. Mid-Air Cell / Internet

A Swiss tech firm OnAir will be setting up service to allow airline passengers to use their cell phones and access the Internet on laptops during flights.
China’s Shenzhen Airlines will set up the service by mid-2009 and hope to have a demo aircraft available for the Beijing Olympics next year.
