Samsung Unveils HZ1 Point and Shoot with 10x Optical Zoom

While most point-and-shoot cameras get a measly 3-5x optical zoom, Samsung said, "No, we can do better!" In their search for a greater zoom lens on a small camera, they searched the world for a way for this technology…only to find out that pouring money in R&D does the trick well enough. The HZ1 also has video recording at up to 720p, image stabilization (which is basically required at anything past 5x), and we’re betting will cost at least $400 big ones.
