Psystar Beats Apple by Releasing Blu-Ray Enabled Mac Clones

Psystar announced today that they are ready to ship a Mac clone with built-in Blu-ray and NVIDIA 9800GT graphics cards. This comes as a surprise given that the company is currently in closed-door talks with Apple to negotiate an end to their cloning ways.

Steve Jobs has thus far resisted inclusion of Blu-ray technology into Macs because of steep licensing costs, a problem Psystar apparantly had little issue with. No pricing model has been announced yet but expect them to be fairly inexpensive.
