Next Gen Lithium Batteries Have 8X Battery Life

Korean Professor Cho Jae-phil in the Department of Applied Chemistry at Hanyang University has developed a new cathode material that extends the "battery life" capacity of Lithium batteries 8 times the capacity of batteries currently made.
Batteries today are made using graphite whereas Jae-phil uses silicon to achieve the major increase in performance.
Lithium batteries are used in all laptop, cell phone and mobile electronics. This is a huge break for the future of mobile electronics.
