Memory Card Still Good After 2 Years In Water

Two years ago, Mr. Collins lost his Canon Powershot camera when his boat capsized in Kejimkujik National Park. Mrs. Collins nearly drowned and naturally, no one gave the lost camera second thought - until now.

A park maintenance worker found the Canon, which was beaten up, but to everyone’s amazement, the memory card was relatively untouched by the water. When tested, 300 pictures were found on it - eerie reminders of a fateful day.
