<p>Just to clarify. You *don&#8217;t* need a number for each location you<br />
visit. Your primary MAXroam number offers you the same low rates<br />
wherever you call from and wherever you call to.</p>
<p>The idea behind the local numbers is to cut the cost  of the call for<br />
the people calling you. For example, if you are visiting Spain and<br />
have friends there you get a Spanish MAXroam number and they call that<br />
at a local rate. Otherwise with you MAXroam US number they would be<br />
forced to pay an international long distance to call you even if you<br />
are just down the street.</p>
<p>MAXroam is about saving everyone money.</p>
<p>Also, out numbers start at around €2 per month although some of the<br />
more &#8220;exotic&#8221; numbers are more expensive.</p>
