India Brings The Vibrating Condom

Yes, they’re for real. In India, condoms have been slowly, but surely, marketed more and more often. One brand, Crezendo, created a new breed of condoms that contain a battery-operated ring-like device. While this would be fine, if a little eccentric, in America, India has made a ban of any toys or products that are sexual in nature. As the condoms can be misconstrued as a crude type of vibrator, efforts are in place in order to have the product banned in the country.

"So we added the vibrating ring as a pleasure enhancer. It helps to hold the condom in position besides producing a vibrating effect," company spokesman S Jayaraj told BBC News.

The company that helped distribute the product, Hindustan Latex Limited, insists that it is nothing more that a pleasuring enhancer, and shouldn’t be taken as a sexual toy.
