I have followed those instructions and when i am about to uninstall this update it gives me a error saying ( An error has occurred> Not all of the updates were successfully unistalled) what do i do next ?

Thank you very much. I have not nothing but issues with IE8, too infuriated to list. Suffice to say what used to be simple tasks like downloading QTime, I can’t find even.
