Hottrix has filed a $12.5 million lawsuit against Coors beer brewing company. Hottrix claims Coors copied it’s iBeer application it created for the iPhone. The iBeer application costs $3.00, and when run it displays what looks like a beer that empties as you tilt the display. The Coors application is call iPint, and it’s free. To prove their case Hottrix points to a video they put on YouTube in July of 2007, of their application in action. Apple removed the free iPint application from their iTunes App Store pending the outcome of the lawsuit.

ZDNet Asia still has the iPint download available.
