g1 Google Fixes REBOOT Bug in Android

Google has finally fixed the "reboot bug" in the first release of the Android powered OS phone. The bug was an annoying one that would reboot the entire device every time that the word "reboot" was entered into the phone.

The bug which affected the RC29 firmware, caused the phone’s OS to interpret every word as a command. The bug was fixed on October 31st but just recently began rolling out over-the-air updates to G1 users. In order to complete update, G1 users still are required to select "Update" on their phones to implement the fix.

Users with RC30 firmware or later should not experience any further problems from the bug.
