Trying again.) Thanks for the info. I can tell you why someone would want to disable tabs...they're far more confusing than those windows in the taskbar. When you have multiple tabs open, each has an "x" on the right side for closing. Additionally, the rightmost tab has a "+" next to the "x" that you can click for a new tab. Of all the labels they could have chosen, they had to pick two that are nearly identical and put them side by side. I've lost count of the number of times I've clicked the "x" by mistake, closing the page I was working on by accident. I HATE tabs. They are the worst aspect of Firefox.
