Crafty DIYer designs plywood laptop case

Home made niche cases for laptops and other goodies are all the rage since, well, forever. This one is really a triumph of design and functionality. Not only does the plywood exterior look cool, but the guts are padded with cork to help keep your baby(You do call it that right?) cool. It took the designer countless hours of plywood bending, carving and sanding to make this thing. I can’t help but now feel embarrassed about the series of pathetic ash trays I made in arts and crafts class in fifth grade.
The designer says they are will soon get to work on other sizes for different devices. Click the link for a spotlight on the case.
