Well, I guess it’s not a direct link (it must be in my cache) as I just used it and it’s not going to the same page. To find the page, go to the Microsoft site and type DEP in the search box.

Take care…Sue

  • Hi. I hope this isn’t a duplicate. I tried posting 2x and both times I was taken to a white page where it hung (nothing like the post that went through the other day). I found the fix by chance. I Google’d re filter and plugin problems and Filtermeister had a fix for their’s. I use Murameister and Xero so I tried their fix and it didn’t work. The 2nd part of the post mentioned changed DEP settings. I did that and voila, EVERY plugin and filter is now working! Hope I can add this Microsoft link so others with similar probs can use it…

BTW, thanks for the prompt reply…Sue :)

    Thanks for the tip Sue.

  • I purchased a new computer with Vista about a month ago and have the odd error popup, but PSP 7 seems to be working fine. My problem is that more than 1/2 of the plugins/filters I have no longer work. I get the error message you described in your post re the program crashing. I’ve been searching Google for info and I’ve heard everything from no probs to many probs. I did try your “aero” fix, but changing it to basic didn’t help. Do you have any suggestions re my problem?
