Comcast to Limit Bandwidth Usage Per month

Beginning on Wednesday, Comcast, the largest broadband service provider in the U.S., is going to start capping the total amount of data you can transfer using their broadband connection, to 250 GB per month. With this move, the cable company will become the symbol of a new Internet era, one that is both monitored and metered. Call your local Comcast office to voice your complaint. This bad business practice will only stop when customers demand to get what they are paying for, and what was promised to them by Comcast.

Comcast isn’t actually first as such. Rogers in Canada has been doing this for a year or more and if you think 250GB per month is bad, they limit their customers to 60GB/month.
