For defragmenting, I use Diskeeper on my Vista Business equipped Thinkpad, and it is fantastic. Very easy to use, defrags quickly, and is problem-free. It was highly recommended to me on many internet forums when i was looking for a defragger. You can also check out the free trial versions at their site.
